Areas of research can cover any aspect of economic and social policy, ranging from social statistics, economic monetary or fiscal areas, and employment levels to energy, health, transport and privatization.
Conduct various sampling techniques that may be used to develop different types of surveys;
creating, as well as using, various econometric modelling techniques to develop forecasts;
understanding and interpreting data;
analysing data to test the effectiveness of current and future policies on the suitability of privatization programs.
explaining and presenting research methodology with conclusions drawn from research data;
providing economic advice to a range of stakeholders;
evaluating past and present economic issues and trends;
writing various technical and non-technical reports on economic trends and forecasts to inform the press and public;
Provide strategic and business planning consulting services to management and board of directors to review and develop comprehensive strategic plans; develop detailed operational plans for new ventures or service offerings; conduct cost-benefit analysis on client services; analyze real estate development opportunities and research best practices for a real estate development group. Achieve revenue goals mutually developed with President/CEO.
Conduct necessary research to benchmark best practices in the real estate development industry. Convert industry standards to local conditions.
Facilitate strategic planning sessions with management and boards and redevelop of the organizations vision, mission, goals and objectives.
Conduct internal, external, and competitive analysis to ascertain the organization’s strategic strengths and opportunities. Evaluate strategic options including feasibility studies and cost benefit analysis. Provide innovative real estate development solutions and present strategy to the board.
Develop financial strategy to implement plan and support operations. Analyze the financial implications of strategic decisions. Identify areas of risk.
Create proposals for new accounts to ensure a high standard of quality and financial viability of all proposed new assignments.
Research and analytical skills with the ability to creatively translate and communicate information.
Good facilitation and presentation skills including use of technology to communicate ideas and strategy.
Solid understanding of business planning with compassion to work with clients
Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and maintaining strong relationships with clients and co-workers.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and colleagues, present information, and write cohesive reports for audiences with varying degrees of expertise.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum three to five years of experience performing higher-level business planning functions.
